Battlefield 1 showed everyone that the series is still relevant in the best way possible by bringing players to the massive battlefield that was World War I, and showed how fights were handled back then. And ever since its launch, EA and DICE have been adding more and more content to the game so that players could view even more the “War To End All Wars”. That quest continues today, as the “Turning Tides” DLC has just released for those who have the Premium Pass for Battlefield 1.
The focus of the Turning Tides DLC is on the Gallipoli peninsula, where two maps await you in the forms of Achi Baba and Cape Helles. Will you be able to survive the fights that await you? If not, don’t fear, because EA and DICE are also giving you six new weapons to ensure your survival and your victory, as well as two new melee weapons for up close and personal combat.
But, you won’t just get to travel along the land, no, you’ll be able to ride across the very waters themselves via an L-Class destroyer. Just be careful not to wreck it, ok? As if that’s not enough, there’s a brand new Elite Class for you to become via the Infiltrator. With this one, you’ll be much more stealthy, and yet be able to move at much faster speeds. So don’t be afraid to give this class a try when you test out the DLC.
The Turning Tides DLC won’t end with just this content, for in January, the North Sea portion of it will release, bringing in even more maps and weapons for you to play around with.
Now, if you’re not a premium pass member, then you will have to wait a bit before getting your hands on it. This first part will arrive in January for all standard users.
