Battlefield 1 dared to push back the clock, taking modern war-time games back to the original world war, and showing just what it was like back then in a way not done before. The game was successful, and critics and fans alike enjoyed it. But, that wasn’t enough for EA, they wanted to make sure players were kept interested in the title, so, they made sure it would have plenty of DLC. And now, the next batch of it is coming in the form of Turning Tides, and EA made a blog post detailing all of it.
The first batch of Turning Tides content will arrive for Premium Pass members on December 11th, and will give players two new maps: Cape Helles and Achi Baba. These maps will guide you through a key British operation in WWI, and it’ll continue in January when you go to the North Sea. Which, will arrive in January, and bring you the Zeebrugge and Heligoland Blight maps, where you’ll take charge of the Royal Marines as you try and take out all enemies.
For those who don’t have the Premium Pass, the content will arrive two weeks later.
But that’s just the start of the content, there’s also going to be a new game mode for Battlefield 1 called Conquest Assault. In this new twist on the Conquest mode, you’ll be both pressing an attack, as well as defending key territories. You’ll have to weather the storm and be the storm in order to win. There will be other new features as well, including Service Assignments, Specializations, Dog Tags, Service Stars, Medals, and Ribbons. With even more on the way.
Plus, EA is giving you the chance to get your hands on the other DLC of the game during two free trial periods. The dates for them will be November 22 – December 4, and December 8 – December 10.
Be sure to check out the whole blog so you can see all that is coming.
