Battle for Azeroth Merges PvP Prestige Levels
World of Warcraft players are eagerly waiting for the next chapter in their favorite MMORPG game, and that is Battle for Azeroth, which is coming on August 14, 2018. It’s close, but not close enough, as this expansion is bringing the focus back on the Alliance versus Horde conflict that was always one of the biggest centers in the Warcraft universe. But, while we wait for the launch of the expansion, Blizzard is steadily releasing more info about the expansion and the new features and changes that it’s bringing, one of them being the account-wide PvP levels and how they are all going to be combined into one total once Battle for Azeroth launches.
WoW players currently earn their Prestige Levels by taking part in various PvP activities. So, the Prestige Levels that you earn in the Legion expansion on all accounts will get combined into one figure in Battle for Azeroth. These Prestige Levels offer all kinds of benefits to players, like access to cool pets, mounts, toys, and so on. Blizzard said in a couple of tweets:
In Battle for Azeroth, all of your Prestige levels are going to merge. So if you have three characters who reached Prestige 4 in Legion, your account will be set to Prestige 12 in Battle for Azeroth.
Yes, if you unlock an appearance that requires an account-wide Prestige level, all of your characters will get that appearance.
Cool changes, but we will have to wait and see how the player receive them when the expansion officially launches.
