Could Battle For Azeroth Have Some Focus On The Pandaren Race?
One of the many benefits that World of Warcraft has had over the years is a veritable slew of expansions that have made the realm known as Azeroth a joy to play for years. Now yes, not every expansion was a major success (Warlords of Draenor anyone?), but the game definitely bounced back with Legion. And now, the World of Warcraft players are looking forward to the next major expansion, Battle For Azeroth, which will reignite the rivalry between the Alliance and the Horde.
But, as we wait for the leadup to the expansion, something interesting is happening within World of Warcraft itself. Mainly, the ending to one of its previous expansions, Mists of Pandaria, is getting erased. Many posts on Reddit have been noticing the “retconned” ending. But, it is leading to an interesting conversation, could Pandaria rise again somehow via Battle For Azeroth? One Redditor thinks bringing in Ji Firepaw and Aysa could be could for the expansion:
BFA would be a perfect time to bring these two back into the mix. Test their faction allegiance similar to Thassarian and Koltira Deathweaver in the Western Plaguelands.
It is an intriguing notion and one that could be a nice twist on the story of the new expansion. After all, the core of Alliance vs. Horde is a tale as old as World of Warcraft itself. So, throwing in some of the Pandarians would be a nice twist on the story.
Many are sad that the ending to Mists of Pandaria is getting erased, though they feel it does make sense given the context of not just Legion, but Battle for Azeroth as well. Blizzard has been working hard on trying to make each expansion unique and special, so you have to wonder what else they have in mind when the next one arrives later this year.
