A Google Stadia announcement counted Baldur’s Gate 3 among its games that are releasing sometime during 2020.
Stadia had an announcement that carried some rather unexpectedly wonderful news. Well, it leaked Baldur’s Gate 3 release date and it’s sometime in 2020. Should we be expecting the game this year? Perhaps we should, as a Larian representative failed to deny the release date of 2020 when reaching out to PCGamesN to comment on this fact.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a title that many are waiting with high expectations. After all, it is a new entry in an RPG franchise that’s celebrated in the world for its complexity and immersiveness. Larian Studios have proven their skills with Divinity and Divinity 2, but this is still a big thing for them. If done correctly, they’ll be celebrated for giving us a new entry in a series we thought was long forgotten. If they screw it up, well, it won’t be pretty.
Baldur’s Gate 3 release date wasn’t supposed to be a part of Google’s newsletter. It wasn’t supposed to be included at all. However, since the release date information wasn’t downright labeled as wrong, we may get to play this title this year.
