A small patch has been added to Dark and Light, predominantly focusing on bringing balance changes to improve the overall quality of the game, as well as rolling out the first wave of bans.
The team will be looking into changes to the PvP aspect of the game over the course of development, which will be implemented through a small patch such as this one. Over the next week going forward, a few updates are being brought in to fix the issue with long loading times for players trying to join servers, plus a number of sever health enhancements, as well as reducing the usage of memory. These may seem minor at first, but they will be improving the life of the game throughout the course of the Early Access period. This method will also bring a wealth of new content, so be sure to keep your ear to the ground for more information.
The development team has also issued the first wave of bans, as they look to keep fans updated on how they are dealing with those who look to exploit the game. This ban wave is aimed at players who have been purposely exploiting bugs that are in Dark and Light to use for their own personal gain They are able to do so thanks to honest players for submitting reports, and are encouraging them to continue to report any suspicious activity and hard evidence to the Player Support team.
