Metro Exodus is moving away from the linear level design of the previous two games, and is entering the open-world setting, which looks quite spectacular. We can’t wait to explore the Russian wasteland, and this time we won’t be spending the majority of the game underground, this time we get to see what the world looks up above. From what we saw in the trailers, we are going to have a lot of fun exploring the world of Metro Exodus, now we know that we will find ourselves in all kinds of combat situations, and this is where the backpack becomes an important thing.
In an interview with PCGamesN, we found out that the backpack is going to be very important in Metro Exodus. You see, when you’re out there in the open wasteland and you’re taking people down from afar, a rifle with a scope is really handy. But, when you find yourself in a small indoor area, maybe you want a silencer or an extended magazine, both of which may be inside your backpack.
We just can’t wait for this open-world shooter to launch, it just looks like something that will be a lot of fun. Fighting mutated animals in a post-apocalyptic environment never gets old, and since Fallout 4 wasn’t really all that amazing, and we hadn’t seen a Stalker game in a while, this will be our open-world post-apocalyptic shooter fix of the year.
