Ubisoft unexpectedly came out and gave us an announcement for Assassin’s Creed Valhala which is getting revealed in an official trailer today.
Am I getting Vikings in my Assassin’s Creed game? To be honest, I’m not even mad, I’m actually quite impressed. I just don’t know why don’t they ditch the AC tag. These games are now open-world RPGs with little emphasis on assassin business. I’m not saying they are bad, but they just don’t feel like AC titles anymore. But, maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe it’s time to become a Viking and go explore some frozen northern regions. I’m not sure if that’s all we’ll be doing, as not a lot of information is available at this moment. Yet, that will change soon. Today at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET we’re getting the Cinematic World Premiere trailer. A cinematic trailer won’t tell us much but it will give us a little bit of info on the game’ world and characters.
Now that Assassin’s Creed Valhala got revealed, what do you think, will we ever go back to the old AC formula? That was perfect in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood? Or will Ubisoft go with their new ARPG thing? I understand that new games are more mainstream. So they attract more players. But what about the core Assassin’s Creed fanbase? Are they a fan of the new AC titles?
I had the opportunity to work on one of my favorite video game franchises this year and I’m excited to finally share this with you! The official debut trailer for the new @assassinscreed will drop worldwide tomorrow, don’t miss it! @Ubisoft #AssassinsCreed

If you’re looking to buy ANY Assassin’s Creed game, all of them are available for a cheap price over at HRK Game. From the first ones to the new ones that adopted the ARPG approach.
