Microsoft has debuted a new cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins during a presentation at Gamescom 2017 presentation. The video, which you can find below, highlights some of the historical characters that will be featured in the game, including Cleopatra and Ptolemy.
The video showcases what fans can expect from this next entry in the critically acclaimed Assassin’s Creed franchise, as Origins takes players to Ancient Egypt, where although there will be some differences after some time off from the usual regular releases, you can still expect their to be parkour and stabbing aplenty in this installment. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillamot stated in a recent interview that they had struck a deal with Microsoft, which will see that the Xbox One X version of Origins will be the best console version on the market. “We did a deal with Microsoft on Assassin’s Creed: Origins,” Guillemot revealed, “which is taking really good advantage of the power of the machine.”
Assassin’s Creed Origins will be available on October 27th, 2017 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It will be the first game to be released in the series since Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, which launched in 2015.
