The popular Ubisoft franchise Assassin’s Creed came under fire of sorts for its policy of annual releases before deciding to take a break and come back fresh. Assassin’s Creed Origins looks set to be doing just that, providing a fresh start for the franchise with this soft reboot in terms of the game’s narrative and structure.
They won’t be the only changes being made either, as the series returns with the technical proficiency that its renowned for. From what we have seen so far, Origins looks like its set to be one of the most eye-catching entries from a visual aspect, which goes for all of the platforms that it will release on. As far as consoles are concerned however, there is one obvious standout version that looks absolutely stunning.
The Xbox One X version seems to be the talisman for promoting Origins, and it’s easy to see why, with the amount of firepower behind the upgraded Microsoft home console. Assassin’s Creed Origins is set for release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on October 27th, 2017.
