Why give any girls a gift on Valentine’s Day when you can just download and play Arma 3 for free instead?
Want the most realistic, complex, gripping, and enjoyable modern military simulation sandbox shooters? Have you ever heard of the Arma franchise? It focuses on giving insanely realistic campaign, guns, vehicles, and environments for you to go and roleplay as a G.I. Joe. The latest game in the series, Arma 3, is getting a free weekend that starts of Valentine’s Day.
This is one of those games that you seriously think about playing, since it isn’t exactly easy to get into. But, once you do, you won’t be playing anything else. Mostly because the community that plays this game is awesome, and they make awesome mods. Don’t really like military shooters? That’s fine, there’s probably a mod out there and turns the entire game into a futuristic shooter with hovering spaceships and mech suits.
On the other side of that spectrum lie the roleplaying servers, which are a real joy if you like that sort of thing. These servers truly are gems if you’re into roleplaying, as the players that play on these stick to the rules, stick to the immersion, and you can have a lot of fun by pretending to be a covert ops units that crashes into a secret miltary base and takes out the enemy swiftly, which are other players that are also roleplaying.
Arma 3 is a game that keeps on giving. The community is amazing, the mods that keep on coming out are well-crafted and enjoyable, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. You have until February 18th to try out Arma 3 and its Apex expansion.
