The impending release of Ark: Survival Evolved hasn’t been without its controversy. Its been in early access stages for quite some time now, yet it hasn’t stopped Studio Wildcard for trying to charge players for DLC, for a game that essentially isn’t finished yet, not to mention the steep price tag for something that many believe isn’t near completion. So fans won’t be pleased to hear that it has been delayed even further.
Now, the release of the survival game has been pushed even further back, with it being set for release later into next month on August 29th. The studio stated: “This extended time will allow further development of the map and you guys can expect a gigantic update, even bigger than we initially thought.”
Ark: Survival Evolved has already gone gold, meaning that the game is more or less ready. However, the process has taken the studio longer than they initially expected. This extended period is also being used to work of the planned DLC, known as the Ragnorak DLC, which will also be delayed in its release along with the base game.
Ark: Survival Evolved is scheduled for release on August 29th after another delay, and will launch on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
