Are You A Part Of The MapleStory 2 Head Start?
The opinions on MapleStory 2 have been pretty varied so far. Some love it, some hate it, others just want to try it. Well, if you pre-purchased a pack for the game, you can play it right now.
These days you can get a lot of things if you support a game before it gets released. Get access to exclusive items, sometimes even exclusive content. But, in the case of MapleStory 2, you get a head start on the official version of the game. You see, the game is going to officially launch on October 10th. But, if you pre-purchased a pack or something while this title was still in development, you can play it right now. That’s right, the head start is today, on October 1st.
If, by some chance, you have no idea what MapleStory or MapleStory 2 is, we’ll fill you in. MapleStory is a side-scrolling MMO that is quite old. It’s actually older than WoW, which is surprising, considering such an old game even got a sequel. That’s not all, as the sequel is now 3D, instead of the previous title which was 2D. This is the change that received mixed opinions. Some players liked the transition, while others (mostly hardcore fans of the first game) hated it.
MapleStory 2 also features many tools that give you the option of making your own home. This sudden emphasis on building wasn’t received by many fans.
Since this will be a free2play title, and Nexon is the publisher, a lot of people are worried by unfair in-game cash shops which have stupidly powerful items that you can buy with real money.
