April Will Be An Exciting Month For MTG: Arena
Even though April is almost over, there’s still a lot to look forward to, especially if you’re an MTG: Arena player. Fans of the CCG genre have heard of Magic: The Gathering, as it is essentially the card game that made the whole genre as popular as it is, and thanks to it we got games like Hearthstone, Hex: The Shards of Fate, and various other titles. Players should especially keep an eye out for the Dominaria update, which is coming on April 26th.
Every legend, Saga, and Thallid will be available to players once Dominaria releases, and the update is also coming with various visual improvements and an exciting new battlefield. The developers of the game are also experimenting with connecting the tabletop game with MTG: Arena. New Zealand players that buy booster and Prerelease packs will also get special codes which they can then use to get in-game items for MTG: Arena. This is still being experimented with, that’s why it’s only available in New Zealand.
New events are also arriving to the game sometime in the future, and the first of these will be a best-of-one Constructed event which starts on April 26th, and after that, we’re getting a best-of-one Draft event on May 4th. A lot of content is coming to MTG: Arena, so if you want to read about all of it, go check out their official post.
