We all love teasers, we really do, but sometimes we get something that should be a teaser, but instead of showing us a tiny bit of content or providing us with a tiny bit of information, we get nothing. You see, certain developers nail the teaser thing perfectly, while others completely miss the point. What do you think Bioware in their latest trailer for Anthem? They posted a six-second teaser which shows the game for two seconds. Technically, that is a teaser, but it did not show anything even remotely interesting, but you should watch it for yourself anyway.
You see, in their last game, which is known as Mass Effect: Andromeda, Bioware dropped the ball. From the absolutely horrifying bugs, disastrously animated cutscenes, totally zombie-like characters, and dumbed down gameplay, the game wasn’t really received well, so now that they want to hype us up for their new game they give us two seconds of actual, we are presuming, in-game footage.
What did the teaser tell us exactly? Well, someone in the teaser said: “Something is out there. It wants to destroy us all”, but since we don’t have much information on Anthem, we don’t exactly know what is lurking in its game world, and why it wants to destroy us all. Maybe it is just Mass Effect fans that are lashing out because of the Mass Effect: Andromeda fiasco. Anyhow, you can expect to see more footage of this game on June 9th on their EA Play Live Press Conference.
