If you wanted to get a closer look at some awesome Anthem gameplay, now is your chance. The hands-on demo that was shown at E3 has now been released, and it shows us the world, the combat, the enemies, and flying in mech suits. We all wanted to see more of how this game plays, as most of us are really hyped for it but aren’t really sure that the game is going to turn out as we want it to. Now we know how it looks and how it plays, and the 20 minute E3 demo gave us just enough footage to confirm that this is our Iron Man fantasy come true.
We see a couple of players taking on one mission where they have to find some kind of acid and whos using it to destroy stuff. Pretty simple, and the mission itself isn’t all that special, but taking a closer look at the world and combat of Anthem is amazing. The gunplay of the Javelins looks quite smooth, and witnessing how the Colossus fired off an energy blast(the weapon in question is the Railgun) that blew up a couple of enemies and their cover was absolutely terrific. Another thing is the beauty of this game. There was a scene where they went underwater for a brief moment and let’s just say that our jaw hit the floor.
