The hype for the next World of Warcraft expansion, Battle for Azeroth, just keeps increasing, and as we draw closer to the release date, we get more and more pieces of information and entertainment from Blizzard. Now, there is another comic that Blizzard released, and it is focused on Magni the Speaker and both his struggle with hearing the voice of the world’s soul, and the issues with his wife and his daughter. A parallel can be drawn between the way he’s losing both his touch with the world’s spirit as well as his daughter, and how we will lose both if he doesn’t do anything about them.
WoW players already know this, but if you aren’t aware, in the final moments of the last expansion, Legion, Sargeras (who is the creator of the Burning Legion) is defeated but his sword falls into the ground, and considering how powerful an entity he is, his sword is probably poisoning the entire planet. In the comic, we follow Magni the Speaker as he tries to unravel what is happening to the world’s spirit and why he hears only screams when he tries to listen.
In this Battle for Azeroth comic, he tries to find a way to reestablish his connection to the land of Azeroth while also taking care of his daughter. We don’t want to spoil anything else, so be sure to read the comic as soon as you can!
