The third-person survival co-op shooter, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, announces its release date in a trailer full of Xenomorph horrors.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite is using Xenomorphs in a way that usually doesn’t work. Xenomorphs are always scarier when there’s only one. After all, it’s an apex predator that evolved into the ultimate killing machine.
Yet, most Aliens: Fireteam Elite trailers and gameplay videos look quite good. The devs managed to make swarms of Xenomorphs look terrifying even though you have guns. That’s always a good sign. Peep their latest trailer that shows off many kinds of Xenomorphs and even some Weyland-Yutani Synthetic creatures:
Pre-ordering the game gets you a Hardened Marine Pack, which includes the:
- Bandana Head Accessory
- Digital Red Weapon Camo
- 3 Weapon Decals
- Chestburster Emote.
As you may have also noticed, the game is coming soon. We can expect to square off against Xenomorph hordes in Aliens: Fireteam Elite in two months as the release date points to August 24th. However, since delayed are commonplace today, don’t get too attached to this release date. It can change in a heartbeat.
What do you say, are you down for some co-op survival action with Xenomorphs? Or do you prefer your Alien games to be single-player horrors?
