Have you heard about Albion Online? It is a sandbox MMORPG that’s set in an open medieval fantasy world, features a player-driven economy, and it just got its fourth major post-release update which introduces the Faction Warfare system.
Any sandbox game with a player-driven economy is good in our book, and Albion Online features both intense PvP and PvE, so pick whichever you prefer more or even engage in both. You can even build yourself a house, experiment with weapons and armor to find a playstyle that suits you the most, and now, we have the Faction Warfare system finally integrated into the game. So here’s the deal, all of these different factions are in a separate Royal city and biome, and each of them has their own unique leader. Also, since they are leading a large and powerful group of people, these faction leaders have strong personalities and are a force to be reckoned with in a fight.
These different bosses were all shown in the trailer, and each of them has a unique playstyle. A guy with the bow also had a pet pig which runs around and attacks players. There is also a mage that really likes to shoot fireballs, so we can’t wait to take him on. He has a really long white beard, so he definitely knows some ancient magic.
We have to wait until the Merlyn update arrives on Tuesday, July 31st to fight these bosses.
