Alan Wake Is Getting A TV Show
Alan Wake, a very impressive psychological thriller that was inspired by TV shows, is now getting one.
These days a lot of video games are getting their own TV Shows. Is that a good or a bad thing, what do you think? At this point in time, we aren’t sure if this kind of news excites or terrifies us. Still, the game was an amazing experience, and the whole vibe of Alan Wake would definitely transition well into a TV show. Especially when you consider that Peter Calloway is working on this project as the showrunner and writer. He worked on shows like Legion and Cloak & Dagger.
But, that’s not the best part. According to PC Gamer, Sam Lake is also involved. If you’re not familiar with that name, Sam was the writer for Alan Wake. He will assume the role of executive producer. When you consider the fact that this TV show has some pretty impressive names behind it, you can’t help but feel optimistic. Many of us just wanted to get a sequel to the game, but it seems that isn’t happening. At least not anytime soon, but a TV show is welcome.
The entire setting of Alan Wake and its universe were exceptionally intriguing to us. A gripping story, charming characters, and an amazing storyline. If they manage to bring all of this to the TV show, it’s going to be something awesome. So let’s all hope that all proceeds smoothly. Who knows, if the show goes well, maybe that increases the chances of a sequel.
