Achievements Finally Make Their Way To Stadia
Achievements have finally made their way to Stadia, even though they were a feature that was promised at launch.
Stadia is going through a rough time. Google’s cloud gaming service is not the revolutionary gaming innovation that it said it would be. It’s quite a lousy service actually. Launched with missing features, cheap controllers, a lack of games available, and more. I’m honestly quite surprised that Google didn’t just give up on it immediately. But, I guess a lot of money got invested in this project. So they have to make it work in the long run. At least Stadia finally has Achievements, a feature that was promised at launch.

Don’t worry, even though this feature just got added, Stadia has been tracking your progress since the beginning. This means that the progress you’ve made in games is already recorded and it will show in the Achievements right away. Hopefully, more of the promised features arrive in early 2020, but I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for them. After all, a lot of them should have been available right from the start, which did not happen when Stadia launched. Whatever the case may be, this cloud gaming service is a long way off from being good. Perhaps that will change next year. For now, we know that they’re buying studios, probably to make games exclusively for Stadia.
