The team at Sloclap has detailed how the combat system works in Absolver, ahead of the game’s launch on August 29th.
Absolver is a game that is constructed to blend both solo and multiplayer play, in a world where players can interact with others in many variations. The fallen capital of the Adal Empire, known as Raslan, players will be matched together, going from one of the dozen inconnected zones to another. Here, you will be connected to one or two players in that zone, free of having to wait around for the game to load.

The team revealed on a recent blog: “Our intention is to expand upon competitive features in the weeks and months after launch with the introduction of 3v3 mode, ranked matches, and a spectator mode.”
