Everyone rather enjoyed the Playground update which focused more on building rather than fighting, and it seems like update v5.10 is bringing that mode back, and the Slurp Juice item was also changed a bit, and the game got a brand new weapon.
Oh yeah, it looks like Fortnite is celebrating its very first birthday. Who would have thought that the world’s most popular battle royal game came out one year ago? It feels like the game arrived yesterday and took the world by storm, but in actuality, Fortnite has been out for quite a while now. Anyhow, there are Birthday Challenges in the game now and there’s cake, so go eat some cake.
It is a great birthday celebration indeed, as we get to play the Playground mode once again on July 25th. Yes, the mode where you don’t have to constantly slaughter each other will return, and we are excited to hop back in with our buddies and try to construct an entire castle together. The Playground mode will even have some new team select options which will let us have practice battles with our friends.
Lastly, we have a brand new weapon in the game, and that is the Compact SMG. It has very high close-quarters combat potential as it fires fast and it has a lot of bullets. If you find yourself in a tight spot and your enemies are close by, the Compact SMG will be very useful.
