First Beta Testers For Fallout 76 Get Selected In October
A lot of people wanted to know if pre-purchasing Fallout 76 gives you a 100% chance of playing the beta as soon as it starts. Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter if you pre-ordered the game, as Bethesda will select their beta testers from a pool of people that pre-ordered the game from a participating retailer.
Everyone is still concerned about what the first online-only Fallout title is going to feel like. Will it be good, or will it be bad, we don’t know and we can’t tell until we play it. That’s exactly why a lot of people pre-ordered the game, as they hoped it would get them into the beta. Well, maybe you can participate in the beta later on, but the first wave of it will be made out of selected people. Who gets selected? We don’t know, but we do know that the first wave will only get a few people in, and then that number is going to increase over time.
Obviously, a lot of people didn’t think that the beta would end up being limited, so the comments of the official post have been bombarded with comments where people complain. Naturally, we would be angry too if we pre-ordered Fallout 76 and then missed out on the beta. You never know, you may just end up being that lucky person that gets picked in October for the first wave of testing.
