There’s nothing a lot of players like more than a good old fashioned crossover of franchises when it comes to fighting games. We’ve seen the likes of Super Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe and others bring delight to many, and one that often stands up is Marvel vs. Capcom, which will release a new entry with Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite later this year.
With that in mind, a few big names have been added to the highly anticipated brawler’s roster. Revealed at Comic-Con, Spider-Man, Nemesis from Resident Evil 3, Frank West from Dead Rising and Final FIght’s Mike Haggar have been added to the line up.
These latest additions were showcased in a trailer that Capcom released for Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, which also includes the previously announced Gamora, who was unveiled earlier this year at E3. Haggar, Spider-Man and Nemesis will be familiar to many from previous entries in the MvC series, whilst down on his luck zombie apocalypse photojournalist Frank West appears as he would in his own respective Dead Rising franchise.
Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite will release later this year, with a launch date currently set for September 19th, releasing on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
