Battlefield V Open Beta Date Revealed
It looks like everyone loved the closed alpha of Battlefield V. Naturally, those of us that didn’t play it just want to know when the open beta gets released. Thankfully, we got a release date for it, and it seems like we won’t have to wait for too long before playing the open beta, which arrives in September. For those of you that don’t know, Battlefield V is the latest game in the popular Battlefield franchise, and it features World War II, but in a different timeline, where you have robotic arms and those sort of things.
The closed alpha served as a way for the developers to test both the technical side of the game as well as gameplay-related things. Giving data to the people that are making the game is important as we show that what works and what doesn’t. But, the closed alpha didn’t show everything that Battlefield V is going to offer when it launches. The developers said in their official post:
There’s lots that you haven’t seen yet – and lots that’s still to be tested! Battlefield V will also have urban maps, wide open maps, and other environment types beyond the arctic, European one in the Closed Alpha. That said, it gave us a ton of great info which we will use to adjust the gameplay.
We are still eager to play the game ourselves to see just how good it really is.
