We Happy Few kind of looks like BioShock meets Fallout, and that is a rather lovely combination. The new trailer for the game is also rather spectacular, and it shows us just how messed up a world we will enter. It seems like society distanced themselves from a war-torn past, and now everyone is taking pills in order to be happy. Sounds a bit like society today, doesn’t it? Well, we still don’t know if this game is going to be a critique on today’s society, but it does look really fun, and we can’t wait to go around and break a few heads of these “happy” psychopaths.
It seems like the people in We Happy Few believe happiness to be a choice. Well, that is true in some way, but not in the “take a pill every day and think that you’re happy when you’re really not” kind of way. Nevertheless, we got to see all the amazing things that this game offers, such as stealth, combat, and the story, which also seems rather interesting. But, the thing that caught our eye the most in this trailer was the weapon crafting system, which looks like it’s going to give us a lot of options.
Any game that allows you to create an electrical baseball bat of some sorts is good in our book, so we are eager to enter this retrofuturistic drug-fueled world as soon as possible.
