Oh boy, look at what we have here. Are these the patch notes for Fortnite’s Season 5? Well yes they are, and we are excited to tell you guys that the battle royal king now has an All Terrain Kart. The roof of the kart is a jump pad, so now this is officially the best vehicle in all of the battle royal games. The map of the game has been changed once again, as we expected and the new biomes are Paradise Palms, a Desert, and Lazy Links, and some other places that are currently unnamed. There is something about Viking ships there, so we are already very excited about this season.
You tell us that this isn’t the coolest thing ever? Why would anyone drive a car or a motorcycle in a battle royal when you and your squad can all hop into this kart and go on one awesome ride? Ok ok, we will stop gushing about the kart, so then, let’s talk about some other important changes other than the kart and the new biomes and map changes.
See, Strom Circles 7,8, and 9 will no longer have fixed positions, and they will instead shift in random directions. This is a welcome change as it makes the late game of a Fortnite match much more interesting than watching two players building and trying to get a higher position so that they can take the other dude out. The pellet spread of the shotguns isn’t random anymore, which was a change that the players asked for a lot.
