ARK: Survival Evolved is a really strange title. It mixes sci-fi with survival elements and then adds dinosaurs into the mix which you can tame and also ride. The game has dungeons, alien technology, all sorts of things that you can craft, PvP and PvE, some may even say that it is one of the better survival games out there, but it has its flaws, like an unimaginative late-game. Still, the developers are adding more content, and this time they announced their latest expansion, Extinction, and they released a cool new trailer for it.
The trailer shows the Earth and its current state, which is pretty bad. Well, it actually depends how you look at it. If you don’t mind that there are giant creatures roaming the land then it isn’t all that bad. The official description of Extinction says:
By far our most ambitious project yet, we are thrilled to take you back to where it all started. Finish your journey through the worlds of ARK in ‘Extinction’, where the story began and ends: on Earth itself! An Element-infested, ravaged planet filled with fantastical creatures both organic and technological, Earth holds both the secrets of the past and the keys to its salvation.
