Chronicles of Elyria Gets More Flora and Fauna
Chronicles of Elyria is an MMORPG that certainly looks interesting, but it is still in early development so we can’t judge it too precisely. Still, everyone is keeping an eye on it to see how it turns out, and the developers regularly post updates about the game and what they add to it. In the most recent post, they talked about how the chat for the game got developed, how they are working on creating stable servers for the upcoming alpha testing phase, and how they are adding more flora and fauna so that the world of Chronicles of Elyria feels more alive than it currently does.
We posted a picture of bunnies, of course we did. Would you rather see pictures of a tree or a house? They also got added, but everyone would much rather see these cute little critters, so enjoy them. The developers are now making sure that this MMORPG doesn’t feel like a hollow and empty plastic world, so they are adding various things to the game to make it feel more alive. On their post they said:
And finally, the biggest challenge of this adventure was, without question, the task of bringing more of Elyria to life. Between finalizing and expanding on cultural lore, aesthetics, and tradecraft across all of our tribes and building the creatures, tools, and other elements used in day to day life, the physical presence of Elyria has expanded quite a bit.
MMORPGs need to feel alive, as they are often huge and filled with all sorts of filler content, so you need to make it at least a tiny bit interesting, or they will bore your players pretty quickly.
