The newest installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise is Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. It seems like Ubisoft is aiming for more exotic places these times, as the last we ventured into Egypt and fought godlike snakes, and this time we are going to the land where the mighty Greeks live. We only have less than three months to wait before we will be able to try out Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which seems like it’s going to be the game with the most RPG elements than any other from the franchise.
Did we actually hear that correctly? Ubisoft developed Assassin’s Creed Odyssey to be a full RPG, and that was their plan from day one? Seems like developers are really stepping out of their comfort zone, especially when you already have a franchise which has solidified itself on certain aspects that are now totally changing, which is a good thing as the Assassin’s Creed games needed a breath of fresh air.
October 5th, 2018 is just around the corner, and we are excited to see this game as soon as possible. This time we even get to pick between two protagonists, Alexios or Kassandra. It’s very clear that Ubisoft is being bold with their gameplay design, and it worked quite well with Origins, so they may hit the mark again with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which looks even more amazing.
