Heroes Of The Storm Getting New Character Reveal Tomorrow
Of the many Blizzard franchises, Heroes of the Storm may be one of the most unique, as it blends virtually every single franchise they own into one MOBA. They bring characters from Warcraft, Overwatch, StarCraft, The Lost Vikings, Diablo and more into the mix for a unique game that continues to grow and evolve. And now, they’re teasing something big for tomorrow. How big? Well, they’re teasing both a new character reveal and a new map for players to have fun on.
This was revealed in a statement on their page:
“We’re gearing up to unveil the next Hero and Battleground to enter the Nexus during a live broadcast on Monday, June 4, and we hope you’ll tune in for our live reveal celebration!” the Heroes of the Storm announcement said. “Lead Content Designer Matt Cooper and Lead Hero Designer Matt Villers will be joined by HGC Europe casters Tim ‘Trikslyr’ Frazier and Thomas ‘Khaldor’ Kilian to bring you all the details.”
They went on to note:
“Stick around for the entire hourlong show for an epic showmatch on the new Battleground with members of the Heroes development team. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on, so be sure to set a reminder for 10:00 a.m. PDT on June 4. Until then, we’ll see you in the Nexus.”
It’s unclear who and what they’ll be unveiling, but they’re certainly excited about it. Recently, the game has been adding a lot of Overwatch characters, so maybe they’ll be adding one of them. Or, they’ll pull a highly-desired character from one of their other franchises, it’s hard to say.
It also should be noted that though they are revealing a new character and map, it’s not certain when the character and map will actually be available to use. All will be revealed during the stream tomorrow.
