A Lot Of People Played State of Decay 2
Now, let’s make something clear. When we say that a lot of people played State of Decay 2, we mean in the first few couples of days. A lot of people are still playing it now, but the first few days were hot. You see, the zombie video game crazy was very present a couple of years back, but it isn’t as popular as it was. Now everyone is talking about battle royal games, but State of Decay 2 managed to attract over 1 million players in the first few days, which is quite a feat.
The first game received a lot of praise for being a zombie survival title that had a lot of other things going for it, like taking care of a community and finding survivors. You help some people, they move in with you, you start expanding your base and start constructing buildings of all sorts, you basically create a really tiny city with some residents. And in a world where zombies are everywhere, it’s nice to have some company. The sequel brought everything that was good in the first game and made it even better, and now you even have a co-op mode so that you can play with a friend. On the Xbox post they said this:
Since Early Access for the Ultimate Edition on May 18 and the global release of the Standard Edition on May 22, we have had over a million survivors across the globe playing and creating their own zombie survival story. Throughout launch, there have been over six million combined hours of State of Decay 2 gameplay, and we’ve watched nearly 3.5M hours of gameplay across Mixer, Twitch and YouTube Gaming from over 41,000 unique broadcasts.
A lot of people not only played the game, they also watched it. State of Decay 2 looks like its a hit with the players, so, have you tried it yet yourself?
