Quake Champions Gets A New Gore System
Quake Champions is a game that pays tribute to old-school arena shooters, and it is also a modern version of those. It’s a fun game where momentum and skill play a huge part, something that was standard back in the day when it came to multiplayer shooter, but that isn’t the case anymore. A Twitter video that popped up shows the game’s brand new gore system, and it looks bloody as hell, exactly as it should be in a title like this. This new gore system is coming “soon”, but you can never know what soon means with game developers these days, so let’s hope they don’t take too long to release it.
Arena shooters are usually known for their brutality, as this isn’t some kid-friendly shooter, this is a game where you ram into players with a futuristic chainsaw and tear them apart. The new gore system that we’re getting is something that should have been in Quake Champions from the start, but we can understand that this is something that wasn’t as important as other core features, so perhaps that’s why they waited before releasing it. Blowing people up with guns and rockets and plasma bolts will now be much more satisfying when you see your enemy get torn to shreds.
Quake Champions is a really enjoyable shooter, but it is severely lacking players, so if you like intense multiplayer shooters where skill is the most important thing, why not try it?
