Heroes of the Storm has introduced a new patch to the game, which along with an array of balance and bug fixes, brings Starcraft’s Alexei Stukov into the Nexus. The new hero brings his own trademark brand of support to HOTS, with life-renewing pathogens and speed-sapping pustules. The description of the character reads:
“Stukov had a hard life, and an even harder death. He’s been betrayed, shot into space, resurrected and infested, almost cured, and then experimented upon as the infestation returned.”
Stukov’s abilities include Healing Pathogen, in which it afflicts an allied with a pathogen which heals its target over time, as well as spreading to other nearby allies. His Lurking Arm ability inflicts damage each second as it creates a targeted area that silences enemies. His Massive Shove extends his arm to shove an enemy until that clash with the surrounding terrain. Stukov is now available to purchase in game with gold or gems.
In addition, players will also see brand new animations for Xul to go with the abilities that have been updated, as well as updated Ranked Map Rotation, nerfs and buffs to a number of heroes and the ability to stop the screen from shaking.
