PUBG Advances Its War Against Hackers
PUBG has a lot of problems with hackers, but it seems like the developers are actively doing their best to battle these people. Making hacks for games was once something that would at most get you banned from the game or something similar, but now fifteen people have been arrested in China for making these types of programs. The PUBG Corp found out that these individuals made and sold these hacks. The developers worked with all sorts of judicial authorities to catch them, which they did this week.
The PUBG Corp really hates cheating and hacking, and they want their game to be ridden of these things, so naturally, they are on a crusade against people that make these types of programs. Their plan is to create a gaming environment that is safe and fair to all, and hackers and cheaters are a threat to that sort of thing. Their anti-cheat solutions have increased, they upgraded their security measures, they are basically doing all they can to completely eliminate any kind of cheats of hacks. On their official Steam post they said:
Earlier this month, on April 25th, 15 suspects were arrested for developing and selling hacking/cheating programs that affect PUBG. It was confirmed that malicious code, including Trojan horse software, was included in some of these programs and was used to steal user information.
We are sure that the PUBG Corp is going to continue to wage war on these kinds of people, and by the looks of it, they are on the winning side.
