Witchwood arrived in Hearthstone a couple of weeks ago, and it brought a lot of new cards, as is expected. We got new Legendary cards, new Keywords (Rush and Echo), and now we get the Monster Hunts mode which we were eagerly waiting for. It is similar to the Dungeon Run mode that we got in the Kobolds & Catacombs expansion, but it has been changed to be even more interesting.
Everyone loved the Dungeon Run, and so did we. It was probably one of the best features that ever got added to the game. It was fun to play, extremely satisfying to build crazy decks with the artifacts that you get, and overall it was random and enjoyable as much as Hearthstone can be. Now, we got to play something similar to that, and its called the Monster Hunts. This time we got 4 brand new heroes with 4 exciting new hero powers to try out, as well as new artifacts that are expansion-themed. The new heroes are Tess Greymane – The Tracker, Darius Crowley – The Cannoneer, Houndmaster Shaw – The Houndmaster, and Toki the Traveler – The Time-Tinker.
The official Hearthstone post also has brief, and really hilarious descriptions of some heroes and some bosses that you will be facing in this mode, so definitely go read them as Blizzard always makes them interesting and fun to read.
