Bandai Namco Confirms Fused Zamasu For Dragon Ball FighterZ
Ever since Broly and Braddock were brought into Dragon Ball FighterZ, gamers have been eagerly awaiting news about who would be coming to the game next. A whole slew of rumors emerged about various Dragon Ball characters that could show up in the game, but none of them were confirmed. Then, a page from a credible magazine arrived saying that Fused Zamasu would be the next character. And now, Bandai Namco has confirmed that this is indeed the case.
This was confirmed via a tweet, one that showed off many in-game screens of Fused Zamasu in action. Proving that he would indeed be in the game, and could be coming to the game very soon by the looks of things. In fact, when Bandai Namco was asked about when fans could expect this, they replied, “Soon”. Now, how soon is “soon”? That’s hard to say, but it could mean the end of May at the latest. We’ll just have to see.
For those who don’t know who Fused Zamasu is, he’s a being from another dimension and timeline. Yeah, I know that’s confusing. He was the North Kai of his dimension, but had an unhealthy hatred of humans. He then went into the “Future Trunks” timeline and put himself into the body of Goku, who was dead, and became Goku Black. When Goku became too powerful though, he merged his future self with his past self to become this form, making him one of the deadliest villains in Dragon Ball history. It took a combined effort just to put him down.
Based on the screens from the game, it’s clear they’re using all the attacks that was shown in Dragon Ball Super, and even cranking them up a bit to show just how devastating they are. Once we get a release date him in Dragon Ball FighterZ, we’ll let you know.
