Monster Hunter: World Got A New Limited-Time Quest
Great news for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Monster Hunter: World players, you are getting a brand new limited-time quest which is called the “Siege of Kulve Taroth”. This quest sends all of the available players, up to 16 at once, to track down and kill the terrifying new Elder Dragon called Kulve Taroth. Keep in mind that you won’t survive for long if you try to do this quest on your own, as it was designed for multiple players. You can try to beat it solo, but if you gather a few people and take on Kulve Taroth with them, your chances of victory will increase immensely.
Unfortunately, this epic monster is currently only coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players, so those of you that bought Monster Hunter: World on the PC will have to wait in order to face the Kulve Taroth. This new Elder Dragon will be quite a catch, as it allows up to 16 players to try to take it down at once. The developers said in their official post:
Siege is a brand new limited-time quest type which requires the collaborative efforts of all hunters in the same Gathering Hub (which can house up to 16 hunters). Each hunting party will split off into groups of up to four hunters each, but will be working together to investigate and hunt down the same Kulve Taroth.
Basically, Capcom wants you all to work together in order to chip away at Kulve Taroth and then somewhere down the line take him down as a team. You can try to defeat this powerful Elder Dragon on your own, but you probably won’t stand much of a chance as this is a powerful foe that won’t go down without a fight.
