PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Lawsuit Shows Insight Into Cosmetic Loot Boxes
Loot Boxes have been on the mind of many over the last few years, especially during certain gaming debacles last year. However, not all of them are bad when they’re explained and the items you can get don’t necessarily affect gameplay. For PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the Loot Boxes they are use specifically cosmetic, meaning that they only have items that can change the look of your characters, but not affect the gameplay. But is that actually the case? PUBG Corp is suing some copycat games and in the lawsuit, some interesting things were revealed.
As revealed by Gaming Bolt, the problem comes in how the games can use clothing if they’re not careful, and maybe not in the way you’re thinking:
