The wait is finally over! Blizzard has announced the release date for their newest World of Warcraft expansion. Battle for Azeroth is coming to us on August 14, so there are less than 10 days left. New areas, new enemies, new activities, a higher level cap, everything that you would expect from a WoW expansion is coming, and more!
So, what new exciting adventures await us in this new expansion? For starters, we will be exploring the magical kingdoms of Zandalar and Kul Tiras. That also means new monsters to fight and quests to finish. Of course, the highlight of Battle for Azeroth is the new PvE mode called Warfront. In this mode 20 players will go around collecting resources, killing their enemies, and building bases. Sounds a lot like the old Warcraft real-time strategy doesn’t it? We also have an exciting three-man mode where we get to travel to dangerous islands and battle with NPCs or other players for a rare resource. Basically, everything you wanted from a World of Warcraft expansion plus a lot more.
The Battle for Azeroth looks like it’s going to be quite an intense experience, and that’s exactly what an old MMORPG like WoW needs. Players constantly need to get more thrilling content in order to stick with the game, and Blizzard knows that.
