Xbox Game Pass Reveals New Titles For April

Microsoft has been working hard to make their consoles, the Xbox One and Xbox One X, the premier gaming platform. But they’re going beyond just making video games though, they’re wanting their console to be a service to play even more games. The big way they’re doing this is through the Xbox Game Pass. If you get this, you’ll be able to play a large library of titles for a small monthly fee. Think of if as Microsoft’s version of Netflix, but for video games.

Part of the intrigue of this service, which has done well at launch, is that Microsoft will add more titles to the library every month, including major AAA titles when they’re released. Now, via Xbox Wire, we know what the April games for the system will be, and there are some pretty big titles in these additions.

The new games will be Robocraft Infinity, Cities: Skylines, theHunter: Call of the Wild, Kingdom: New Lands, Portal Knights, Clustertruck, Sacred Citadel, and Late Shift.

Xbox Game Pass

If you haven’t heard of Robocraft Infinity it’s because it’s one of the titles that’s going to be “same day release” on the Xbox Game Pass. In it, you’ll construct your crafts and robots and go to battle against other AI or other players in order to secure your dominance. There’s a lot of ways to play the game, and as such, no two battles will ever be played the same way.

The other big title has to be Cities: Skylines. This take on the classic city-building/management has been a big hit with gamers, and as such, there’s an army of expansions and add-ons to make the city building fun even more fun.

The rest of the games are ones that you might want to check out as well, as there’s a lot of variety here. And stay tuned for when the next wave of titles are announced.
