Fortnite Getting 20-Person Team Mode Soon

Fortnite has been in the news a lot recently, and for all the right reasons. Yet, people don’t know why the game is doing so well. In our opinion, it’s not just because of their free Battle Royale mode, but rather, it’s because they’re always changing things up, Epic Games is refusing to stay stagnant in what they offer. To that end, they not only add new weapons frequently, but, they also add new game modes for players to enjoy.

This started out with a 50v50 mode, which allowed players to choose a side and see if they could help their team acquire victory. Well now, a Reddit tease has revealed that a 5-group 20-player battle mode is coming to the game soon. In it, 5 teams of 20 will battle it out for true supremacy.

The new mode would indeed be a big change for the game, regardless of which side of Fortnite you play. The only questions now is when it’ll arrive, and how long it’ll stay. 50v50 only lasted a few weeks, could this go longer?

Also included in that tease were looks at two new axes that you can use to build up forts or break them down, as well as a refresher about Lucky Landing, a new area that’ll appear on the map.

When it comes, it’ll just be the latest in a line of new updates for the game. Fortnite has recently gotten jetpacks, new guns, a revamped map from top to bottom, and more. This is the reason why Fortnite is the most watched video game on Twitch, as well as why it has more concurrent players right now than PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

The game has been skyrocketing in players for months now, and if this new mode goes well, that could continue. So stay tuned for more news.
