Far Cry 5 Will Let You Recruit A Bear
Ubisoft has not been shy about revealing the scale and the scope of their upcoming title Far Cry 5. While admittedly met with controversy upon its reveal, players and critics have come to appreciate much of what the game has to offer. What’s more, the team have been doing very good about showing what’s going to be in the title, which has gotten people even more excited. But now, a new video has released that shows what might be the coolest companion you can recruit…a bear named Cheeseburger.
Yep, you read that right, Far Cry 5 lets you recruit a bear…named Cheeseburger. Because why not, right? Now, unlike certain other companions in the game, Cheeseburger will have to be recruited via a mission, which PlayStation Lifestyle was able to show off in a video today. You might think it’s impossible to “recruit” a bear…but this video don’t lie, and it’s pretty epic.
Recruiting companions for missions is a key part of Far Cry 5, as you’ll be able to work together with many members of the Resistance movement in order to take down a cult named Eden’s Gate, led by the insane Father Joseph Seed. What’s even better though is that each of these companions have their own strengths and skills. Some are snipers, some are archers, some have flamethrowers, some have planes that can bomb or shoot, whatever your particular playstyle is, you’ll likely find a companion that’s right for you. And yes, that includes if you want to maul your opponents with a bear.
As if that wasn’t cool enough, this only scratches the surface of what the game has to offer. You have a massive section of Montana to explore and do things in. From the main mission to several side activities that’ll keep you occupied.
Far Cry 5 arrives on March 27th.
