Next Battlefield’s Trailer Being Worked On?
One of the best things that can help a video game is hype. Now, while it’s true that hype can be dispelled via various acts or designs (Battlefront II…Destiny 2…Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite…) the hype itself can put gamers into such a frenzy that they feel compelled to buy the game. This is a strategy that EA and DICE are using well for their next Battlefield title. We knew one was coming, and then, we found out that just before E3 2018, during an EA Play event, players would get their hands on the title.
That reveal led to much hype, especially considering what it meant. For if they were going to allow gamers to play it, it meant it was advanced enough to do so, and what’s more, EA and DICE would likely have revealed its first trailer by then. Well now, a member of the DICE team has confirmed that the reveal trailer for the next Battlefield is underway.
Naturally, gamers tried to expand what he was saying about it. They asked about when it would be revealed, what it would have in it, etc. But, the team member was tight-lipped, as he should be if we’re being honest.
An interesting thing that should be noted here is that he did answer one key question, when Battlefield 1 was getting its reveal trailer made, it apparently took months to do. So, if we take that into effect here, and we take “underway” as “just started” it could mean that we won’t see this trailer until April or May, or maybe even June just before the EA Play event.
Regardless though, this will add a lot of hype for the title. And given the very positive reception to the last game in the series, Battlefield 1, there’s a lot of momentum and hype going into this game.
