There could be a new Overwatch hero on the way, according to a cryptic tweet posted over on Twitter.

The message that accompanies the tweet discusses a mission that has taken place before the events of the game, which was participated in by the Overwatch team. There are references to already established characters such as Reinhardt, Torbjorn and Ana, though a new name has been spotted known as Emre Sarioglu. Little is known about the character so far, other than the fact that they hold the Private First Class rank.
This should be taken with a pinch of salt for now, since it could well not be a new hero coming to the popular Blizzard shooter. However, it does seem peculiar that they would make any kind of reference to a new character if they weren’t going to be added to the growing roster of heroes.
So far, there isn’t much to go off of, with just this message. There’s no real reference as to what kind of character it will even be, though it could possibly be that it’s a defensive character, given that the most recent additions have been support, tank and two attack.
Overwatch is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
