One of the many things that players loved about Dragon Ball FighterZ was its very diverse roster. While it had many of the classic characters (and even different versions of the classic characters), they also pulled from the history of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super to make the roster even more diverse. Even Yamcha is a boss here (and if you know the series, you know why that’s ironic). But, fans were just as eager to learn who was going to be in the DLC for the game via the Season Pass.
The other day, the first two DLC characters were confirmed in the forms of Broly and Bardock. This was a surprise on many levels, as Broly has only been seen via the Dragon Ball Z films, and Bardock has only been in a handful of episodes through the series. Yet, they do mix well with the roster, and now, we have some scans that highlight the characters in-game.
Now, while this doesn’t give too much information on what is going to happen in regards to their movesets and such in the game, there is a bit of new information to be extracted here. For example, if you look right at the middle of the page, you’ll see Bardock going Super Saiyan, which did not happen in the series. So, you have to wonder if they’ll give a reason behind him going to that form.
Then, at the bottom, it appears they’re detailing something for Android 21 (the original character created for this game by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama). It looks like a new outfit, but it’s hard to see at present. It also appears some new Avatars are coming to the game as well.
Sadly, we don’t know the release date for this DLC, but the moment we do, we’ll let you know.
