EA has announced details on an update which will be coming to Star Wars Battlefront 2 over the course of the next two months. The company has emphasized that “player feedback is essential” in the wake of the whole microtransaction crisis that the game has been met with. Though details are scarce on how they are actually addressing these issues, they have stated that they want to address many issues that players have, and will be doing so around March.
What is coming is a new game mode, known as Jetpack Cargo. Here, two teams of eight with be given jetpacks to collide with one another. As previously stated, so far there aren’t many details on what is going on, but it will be going live next month for a limited period.
Also, the next season of content is in the works, and will be coming “soon.” The game’s devs has stated that they have “learned a lot” from feedback, and will be looking to take what they have learnt into the next season going forward.
This is something that EA will want to make sure they do properly, after the lootbox backlash that they have suffered from since launch.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
