New PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Patch Fixes Player Movement
Bluehole Studio has announced a brand new patch for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on the current test server. The release notes state that the patch will reduce the issue that saw a lowering in performance, which is a problem that has been reported by many players who are in the same area. Also, the latest update offers fixes for issues in which character movement would be mysteriously halted and altered, plus another problem in which character movement seemed out of place during replays.
The patch will be downloaded automatically through Steam once the client has been launched again, provided you have the test server version of the game. The patch looks set to be available over the course of the next few days.
The patch notes themselves are rather short, and you can check them out just below:
Client Optimization:
- Reduced lowered performance issue when many players were in the same area
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed the issue where character movement was instantly stopped and adjusted
- Fixed the issue where character movement seemed unusual during the replay
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is now available on PC, and is also available on Xbox One as part of the system’s Xbox One Preview program, with a full release date yet to be announced.
