The Final Fantasy series is one of the most beloved franchises in all of gaming. The deep RPG storylines, turn and real-time battles, and the characters all make it a series that players can’t help but play. The latest one in the mainline series, Final Fantasy XV, was a huge success when it came out to Xbox One and PS4. In fact, it was the fastest selling game in the series, and earned numerous awards in the process. But now, the game is set to arrive on PC.
Square Enix announced today that the game would launch on PC on March 6th. And in a press release, detailed all the things that the PC version would have in it. Not only will the base game be a part of it, but the games world will be extended in many ways. For example, the Insomnia City Ruins are being expanded, and granting you the ability to do several new quests.
Also new is a “Royal Vessel” that you can use. This boat will allow you explore the space between Cape Caem and Altissia, while also allowing you to fish in new areas.
If you’re looking for a “new perspective” to view Final Fantasy XV in, then you’re in luck, for the PC version will also bring a first-person camera mode for you to use. The game also comes with every piece of DLC released for the game so far, including all the character-focus packs.
Add to that, there will be new items and accessories to get, some of which will power up Noctis even further, new additions to the lore, and new trophies to get as well.
Final Fantasy XV is also getting a Royal Edition for Xbox One and PS4, which will bring the DLC packs together with the base game, while also including new cover art and special features. This too will release on March 6th.
